Andrew Zelade
Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Andrew grew up a BBQ enthusiast. His father, a journalist and author, wrote extensively about Texas history and that included BBQ. Andrew’s first job was at the famed John Mueller’s. He would later work at two Texas Monthly top 50 BBQ restaurants, Terry Black’s and Hurtado, as well as Rollin Smoke in Austin.
Anthony Hashem
Jacksonville native and third generation restauranteur, Anthony was responsible for founding and operating the viral Jacksonville brand The Happy Grilled Cheese established in 2013 and currently still operating. He expanded the Happy Grilled Cheese to Austin Texas in 2019. Anthony got into the comedy business during the Austin entertainment boom, and is founder and co-owner of Sunset Strip Comedy on famed 6th St. His affinity for Texas BBQ left him wanting to bring those authentic flavors to Jax.
